This particular site also proved to be a challenge as it had a fall of 3m from the front to the back. The use of a stepped lower ground floor helped us achieve the building height requirements imposed by the local authority. The master suite takes advantage of the ocean glimpses down the street while a large central courtyard provides a secondary outdoor living area away from the wind as well as bringing in natural light into the centre of the house.
